Dear
Rotary Fraternity,
New Rotary Year shall be commencing very soon. Every year has a
new message for Rotarians where they are expected to work with fresh
zeal, motivation and dedication. You are one amongst 1.2 million
Rotarians who have taken a vow to remove the sorrows from the downtrodden
society by devoting your wisdom, time and money.
Rotarians around the world are working hard for fellowship and service
projects resulting an awarding recognition to Rotary throughout
the world. We are the most lucky people in the world for being the
member of Rotary family.
Every thing in the world is measurable in terms of space and time.
So everything is limited and temporary and, therefore, nothing can
gives us real happiness except Rotary which has no boundaries for
services.
Rotary is the only organisation which looks towards all the Rotarians
with equal vision. It never discriminates the Rotarians on the basis
of background, caste, relgion, country, education and creed.
According to Rotary fellowship one should be concerned more to be
good friend to others than to have good friends in the society after
becoming a Rotarian.
‘’Service above Self’’ is the motto of Rotary
which is based on the principle of surrender, act in your attitude
and endeavour for the sake of society. Consequently the Almighty
empowers the Rotarians with unlimited blessings, appreciation, admiration
resulting in their glorification.
Everyday 30,000 children look towards the Rotarian’s for their
survival. These deaths are more than any world war fought till date.
It is a challenge given to us by our R.I. President D.K. Lee and
we have accepted it. We all have to Make Dreams Real
of these children who die due to preventable reasons.
District Directory is in your hands. It is a dedicated and sincere
work of PP Rtn. Naresh Jain and PP Rtn. Dr. N.P. Saxena. I appreciate
their efforts which they have put in to collect all the information
for this directory. Contact with 700 plus rotarians for their bio-data
is in itself a remarkable achievement.
